Dear Mutwakil, As mentioned in my first message, I am capable of unsubscribing on my own and verifying through myaccount.de.ae that it has been cancelled. That's not where I am seeking assistance. My issue is that I keep on getting subscribed again and again without my consent (today it was to Games Centre at 1352 - I do not know how or why). My question: is it possible to completey block SMS services from getting activated in first place? I am not interested now, nor in the future to activate any SMS services. Thanks.

Dear DU Customer Service, It is appartent from the many complaints regarding the PLAY ZONE SERVICE WEEKLY that the issue is not about deactivating the subscription - I am able to do that on my own. The issue is that the service gets activated in first place without the user's involvement or consent. Just like KathrinGraceCaganong, I was automatically subscribed twice last month and today again, without ever having requested this service. I understand that this service is proviced by a third-party provider, and that this is not your service, and that care should be taken while browsing, etc. However, I feel there is no ownership on your end, seeing how you benefit from third-party provider partnerships while permitting your customers to suffer this glitch or get ripped off by someone trying to make money out of this loophole by using our numbers to get us subscribed. I see DU's involvement as part of the solution, as it is obvious that your customers simply cannot control this (believe me, if we could turn on a switch "never permit SMS services", we would do so). Please do look into this seriously. I am strongly considering cancelling my number, because if my service provider cannot protect me from such a simple fraud or glitch which is not caused by my negligence, then why should I entrust them with a billable account? Thank you.
